Already published in thirteen languages

The online collection already appears in English, Spanish, Swahili, German, Portuguese, Japanese, French, Hindi, Indonesian, Russian, Chinese, Arabic, and Bengali. Every story, poem, and aphorism has been translated into each of these languages, so a publisher can begin from a corpus that already speaks to readers across continents.

The complete corpus inventory is public: corpus.json lists every work with its original language and the address of each published language version, and the site map page links every work in every language.

Original Italian works are preserved exactly as written in a dedicated Italian originals collection.

Integrity commitments

Pemba Umoja maintains final approval on translated editions. Literary integrity and voice consistency are prioritized across all languages.

Translated editions never replace their originals: the source text — English, Italian, Spanish, or Japanese, depending on the work — remains the canonical reference for every edition.
