Your Hug

Cosmic restoration

When I hug you,
the stars and planets
perfectly align.
All the great mysteries
of the world
magically resolve themselves.
Every ache and pain suffered heals;
every worry vanishes.
I am restored
to my original state
cleansed of all of life’s wear,
an infant again,
freshly dropped upon the world.
In your arms
everything is right
in the universe.
