Viajeros
The name of this body is our Mother.
How many cities have I been in?
I don't know where or when.
How many mountains?
How many islands?
How many jungles?
How many seas?
How many skies?
How many smiles have I seen dawn from the sea?
How many tears have I seen fall from the waves
onto the sand?
I don't know the name of all of them,
but I know that all of them
are part of a body,
of one single body.
And the name of this body
is our Mother.
And from her
we receive all
her milk
of air,
of light,
of love.
