Charge
The thunder of hooves
Hoof steps on a mud-filled field.
Hundreds, thousands,
a horizon full
of hoof steps.
Battering, churning.
Battering, churning.
Thunder drives the roar—
quakes the fury
into me.
Unharnessed,
free.
Charge
Charge
Charge
tingling
outstretched
rippling palms
into me.
